Ordnance Survey Ireland (OSi) is the recognised leader in Ireland in the development and application of technologies in mapping and spatial information as well as the provision of related services. The organisation has a strong customer focus and is continuously developing to meet the needs of its stakeholders. It is mandated to provide a national mapping service to Government and is involved in the provision and maintenance of spatial information to a range of private and public sector customers on a commercial basis. OSi is a leader in the use and development of mapping technologies and is a key player in the rapidly developing geographic information industry in Ireland.

The organisation is currently headquartered in Dublin and is designated for relocation under the Government’s decentralisation programme to Dungarvan, Co Waterford. OSi also has regional offices in Sligo, Ennis, Tuam, Longford, Kilkenny and Cork.
